DOOR Foundation (Stichting DOOR) aims to foster cross-collaborations between classical and underground theatre, performance and other artistic forms of expression to enrich the cultural day and night city landscape.

DOOR Foundation is both a producing and a receiving organisation, with a physical location, DOOR Open Space, at the NDSM in Amsterdam. At DOOR Open Space, we showcase a curated art programme, collaborate with artists through residencies and produce our own interdisciplinary work: The Circle of Truth trilogy. A designated space is offered to local artists to facilitate building connections with the neighbourhood. As a result, DOOR Foundation fulfils the role of a culture enabler. 

DOOR Open Space is where artists from different cultural backgrounds and all ages work together, breaking through social bubbles and polarisation.
